The two newly built residential buildings offer comfortable, sustainable and connected living. Whether as an individual, as a couple or in a three-person apartment: modern architecture, sophisticated room concepts and the short distance to campus create ideal conditions for an inspiring learning and living environment.
In the residential buildings, you can choose from cozy 3-person shared apartments, 2-person shared apartments or individual apartments — ideal for shared or independent living. Hive combines quiet living with an ideal study location.
Whether it's a cozy recreation room, a party room in the house or a barbecue area in the countryside — there is also plenty of variety outside the home. Play table tennis, relax with friends or exchange ideas in the shared kitchen.
All apartments in Hive are barrier-free and easily accessible via a lift. This allows you to get to your new home comfortably and without hurdles, no matter which floor you live on.
There are plenty of parking spaces available — for cars and bicycles. Covered bicycle parking spaces and practical cellar compartments also ensure order and comfort in everyday life.

In the heart of our dormitory, you'll find open common areas for studying, relaxing or getting to know each other. Whether it's a lounge or a study room — there is enough space here for exchange, new ideas and a real campus feeling.

A remote control for opening the underground garage door is available from the property management office upon payment of a €100 (one hundred euro) deposit.
Should the remote control become defective, a replacement can be purchased from the property management office for €100. The landlord assumes no liability for the theft of or damage to vehicles and bicycles parked in the underground garage or in the outdoor parking spaces.

Here you'll find answers to frequently asked questions about our student residences.
Who is allowed to live in a student dormitory?
Students at colleges or universities, sometimes also pupils in vocational training
or exchange students.
What kinds of rooms are available?
- Single rooms with shared kitchen/bathroom
- Single apartments with private bathroom and kitchenette
Can I view my room before moving in?
In many cases, you can view the room – either in person or virtually by video.
How are the shared facilities furnished?
There are often shared kitchens, study rooms, laundry rooms, or common lounges.
Am I allowed to bring guests or have them stay overnight?
Yes, but usually only for a short period and with prior registration. The rules may vary.
How far in advance should I apply?
At least 3–6 months before the start of the semester, as places are in high demand.
What if I interrupt or end my studies?
In most cases, the rental agreement has to be terminated. However, special rules often apply if you drop out of your studies or go abroad for a semester.
